Jelena Kecmanovic, PhD – Dr K.
Dr Jelena Kecmanovic (Dr K.) is the founder and director of the Arlington/DC Behavior Therapy Institute and an Adjunct Professor in the Georgetown University Department of Psychology. She is an expert in Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr K. writes a Psychology Today blog titled “From science to practice.”
Dr K. previously worked as a professor at George Mason University and Hood College, focusing on research and teaching. Her publications include academic articles and chapters dealing with anxiety, depression, relationships, and CBT.
